The AIDS Reagent Program has evolved from a small bank of HIV research materials to a unique worldwide resource of state-of-the art reagents for HIV and AIDS research.

MRC NIBSC AIDS REAGENT PROJECT

The Centralised Facility for AIDS Reagents (CFAR), formerly the AIDS Reagent Project, was originally established in 1988 with the primary objective of assisting and supporting the HIV/AIDS research community through the provision of high calibre, specialised and basic biological research materials.

HIV SEQUENCE DATABASE JAMA/HIV SITE

The HIV databases contain data on HIV genetic sequences, immunological epitopes, drug resistance-associated mutations, and vaccine trials. The website also gives access to a large number of tools that can be used to analyze these data.
