On November 14th 2003, the irsiCaixa Foundation hosted the 4th International Symposium on HIV Eradication. Despite HIV eradication is far away from our current biomedical possibilities, is important to maintain an open biannual forum to discuss the most cutting edges of the HIV research, AIDS treatment and the immune reconstitution advances.

As in previous symposia, the contents of this one have been summarized in a book edited by Drs. B. Clotet and C. Boucher. But, due to the on-line possibility that offers the irsiCaixa Web site, we post both the abstracts and most relevant slides presented by the speakers. Our purpose is that they can be used as a useful learning tool.
